Day 1: Cochin –Athirappilly
Cochin – Athirappillly (Hill station + Water falls). Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station. to Athirappilly. Athirapally is the largest waterfalls of Kerala where water flow from a height of 80 feet. ... This makes Athirapally tourism a major attraction of South India. Day 2: Athirappilly -Munnar
This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. The day at leisure.
Day 3:Munnar
Munnar : Morning to Top Station. Top Station offers panoramic view of the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. Then to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and wast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. After noon at leisure.
Day 4: Munnar –Periyar
Munnar – Periyar (wild life sanctuary & Spice plantation) (120 kms/ 3 1⁄2 hrs). By 12 noon at Thekkady. Proceed for a spice plantation tour and by evening at Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Stay in Thekkady.
Day 5: Periyar –Kovalam
Periyar- Kovalam (International beach) Proceed to Kovalam- the internationally renowned beach destination. Spend the rest of the day in the sandy beaches of Kovalam flanked by coconut groves on one side and Arabian sea on the other. Overnight at the beach side hotel.
Day 6:Kovalam–Kanyakumari
Check out from Kanyakumari by 10.30 am and proceed to Trivandrum. Visiting
Padmanabhaswamy temple, Zoo, Planetorium. Overnight stay in Kovalam. Spend upto 11.00 am at Kovalam beach and drop at Trivandrum airport by departure time.
Day 7:Kanyakumari –Alleppy
As per the itinerary, this is the day four of your Kerala tour package. After the healthy breakfast, get ready for another beautiful road trip to Alleppey. The distance from Kanykumari to Alleppey is approx.246km 6 and half hours. Later, leave for the beautiful small town of Alleppey on the banks of Vembanad Lake. As per your Kerala tour itinerary, this is the last destination of your package. This Alleppey is mainly known for its serene backwaters, incredible trees, and floating houseboat. On the arrival at Alleppey, check-in at your Kerala houseboat and complete the formalities. After the check-in, have a hearty lunch in the houseboat and enjoy the lush greenery all around you. In the evening, get ready for a tasty dinner and overnight stay at houseboat.
Day 8:Alleppy–Cochin
Check out from Kanyakumari by 10.00 AM and proceed to Cochin, Local Sightseeing The major tourists attractions includes St. Francis Church, Vasco House, Santa Cruz Basilica Chinese fishing nets, beach walkway in Fort Kochi and Jewish Synagouge, Palace and Jew town of Mattanchery. Lunch at the hotel and rest. Evening visit to Marine Drive.
Day 9:Cochin–Airport Drop
Morning After Check out from Hotel, transfer to airport/railway station for your return
